When she falls pregnant just as the operation goes into overdrive, Falco is caught in a precarious web of lies and deceit from which he can see no escape.Īs he navigates his way through faked murders, armed confrontations, misjudged drug deals and gunpoint polygraph examinations, the season culminates with a massive, Fourth of July Outlaw rally at which Falco and his team finally face the ultimate moment of truth. Together, they recruit a team of confidential informants to infiltrate not just the Mongols, but some of the most notoriously violent biker gangs out there: the Outlaws, the Pagans and the Merciless Souls.īut as ever, Falco’s personal life makes for complications, this time in the form of the seductive, free-spirited artist Sarah-Jane. Introducing us to a raft of colorful new characters (and the surprise return of some old ones) this new season sees Falco’s wits tested to the limits as he joins ranks with Bullet: a grizzled, relentlessly driven undercover cop with a personal grudge against bike gangs. Before he knows it, he’s in over his head, and plunged into a world darker and more dangerous than anything he experienced with the Vagos. He’s desperately trying to fit in, but fueled by a restless unease and an inability to embrace his new world, he finds himself agreeing to sign up to a new undercover operation, this time against the Mongol bike gang. Almost two years on from the busts, he is living strange new life as a man with no identity in an unfamiliar Virginian town. I believe he infiltrated biker clubs/gangs a total of 2 or 3 times.Season 2 of Gangland Undercover picks up Charles Falco’s story as he seeks refuge from the aftermath of Operation 22 Green against the Vagos. I would be happy to find out that The History Channel is going to have another season and show Falco's next undercover assignment. ![]() Another positive is that it didn't portray a romanticized version of being an outlaw like SOA often did, but made sure to point out the criminal activities. It liked seeing a more realistic view on the biker lifestyle. It was pretty incredible to see the dire situations that Falco got into and see how well he thought on his feet and how he managed to get out of the hot-seat. When I think of the overall cohesiveness, it seems like key information is lacking which could've been resolved with a longer first season. It's confusing that they only put out 6 episodes. I would think that given the huge success of Sons of Anarchy that there would be tons of people wanting to see into the real existence of a Biker Club/gang. I just watched episode 6.What?! That's it? Even though Falco spent 3 years of his life infiltrating this often vicious gang it gets condensed down to 6 shows? What a disappointment. Falco is requested to partner with his old nemesis Darko, which leaves him to contemplate quitting the mission and the Devil and posse arrive to inspect the new clubhouse, and the night takes a hellacious turn. ![]() And actually, I appreciated having more insight into what he was thinking and feeling. ![]() The show continued to have Falco give a personal accounting, but they were able to make it flow more smoothly into the story. I ended up giving it a second chance and I am glad I did. I remember thinking that The History Channel really messed up what could have been an otherwise great TV show. I just wanted to be able to watch the characters interact - to get to the meat. It seemed quite disruptive and irritating especially when it happened during a tense action scene. As I watched this episode it kept cutting away to have the real Falco give some narration. So I was pretty interested in checking out "Falco's" undercover story to see real-life danger and a world that is completely different than my own. (I do go into these knowing that some leeway has to be given to the facts so that it can make for good TV viewing.). I enjoy watching TV shows/movies that are based on true life. I ended up watching episode 1 only because it came on after Vikings.
